I have wanted to do this for as long as I can remember. At sleepovers, while everyone else was busy picking a movie, I had already found someone's eyebrows and a pair of tweezers. Skin and faces just had my attention, long before I had any idea it would one day be my job.
That fascination never really faded. It just grew up alongside me, and somewhere along the way it became the work I have now spent more than ten years doing in this clinic space.
I will admit, my curiosity has never really switched off. I still catch myself walking through the supermarket, looking at people's skin, quietly thinking through what might help them. It isn't judgment. It is just how my mind works. I genuinely love this, and I find it deeply satisfying to help someone improve the way they feel about their own skin.
There are a couple of treatments that bring me the most joy. Dermapen is one of them, and honestly, it is hard not to love a treatment that shows its work so quickly. The skin needling process triggers your body's own repair response, so you are not just masking something, you are genuinely encouraging new collagen and improved texture from underneath. Clients often notice a difference from the very first session, whether that is tighter looking skin, smaller looking pores, or a more even tone, and that early proof tends to be exactly what keeps people coming back for the full course. I love being able to show someone real, visible progress that early on, because it makes the whole process feel worthwhile from day one rather than asking them to simply trust the process.
The other is IPL Permanent Hair Reduction. So many of my clients have lived with unwanted facial hair for years, feeling self conscious about it every single day. Watching that fade treatment by treatment, and watching their confidence grow alongside it, is some of the most meaningful work I get to do. It changes far more than skin.
I also have a couple of true hero products I reach for again and again, from the Juvenate range. The ReDesign Crème is one. It is an omega rich crème that delivers serious nourishment and hydration to dry, thirsty skin, while helping to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and I love recommending it to anyone needing a bit more strength in their daily routine. The other is the ReShield SPF20 Tinted, which has genuinely become my everyday non negotiable. It protects against UVA, UVB, and blue light while doubling as a light tinted moisturiser, so it is one simple step that does a lot of the work.
Ten years in this space has meant I have become a familiar face in our community, and many of my clients have followed me since long before All About You existed in its current form. That kind of trust means everything to me, and it is something I never take for granted.
